PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man who was convicted of using stolen identities of nurses to send impostor nurses to work in long-term care facilities in Washington has been sentenced.
On Tuesday, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office announced that David Mungai Njenga was sentenced to 14 years in prison along with 1.5 years of community custody after serving his prison sentence. Njenga was also ordered to pay restitution, which will be determined in a future hearing.
