PICS: Boise ID To The Final Resting Place Of 2 Rock Gods Is Just A Day’s Drive

I recently returned from a trip to Washington State in which I had the opportunity to visit the final resting places of two of the biggest musicians of all-time, and sadly, two members of an unfortunate and macabre group of entertainers who all died at the same age.

I arrived back in Twin Falls on June 17 from a four-day trip to Tacoma to attend my daughter’s college graduation. While in Washington, we did all the tourist stuff like visit Pike’s Place, ride the elevator to the top of the Space Needle, and visit Mount Rainier National Park. Two things that were not on my radar prior to leaving were visiting the final resting places of a pair of rock and roll royalty.

Less than 15 miles apart from one another near Seattle are a pair of landmarks that became the eternal sanctums of two members of the ‘27 Club.’
