Days after it was revealed that activists were staging protest materials inside a King County-owned storefront across from Lumen Field, Marxist former Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant appeared to be leading demonstrators utilizing those same protest resources outside Seattle’s World Cup venue.
On Tuesday morning, Sawant, who is currently running for Congress, posted photos and video to social media showing herself marching alongside members of UNITE HERE Local 8 outside the Embassy Suites hotel adjacent to Lumen Field, where FIFA World Cup matches are being held.
