A BELOVED thrift store could be transformed into hundreds of apartments under brand new redevelopment plans.

Fresh proposals have sparked fears the long-standing shop could eventually make way for a huge mixed-use housing complex.

The plans concern the Ballard Goodwill in Seattle, where a land use application has been filed with the Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections seeking approval for a major redevelopment of the site.
