Seattle weather: Heat and smoke increase Monday and Tuesday

The Brief

  • Highs in Seattle will jump from the mid-70s on Sunday to the upper 80s by Tuesday before cooling back down Wednesday.
  • Wildfire smoke from the Cascades may bring degraded air quality and hazy skies to the region on Monday and Tuesday.
  • Warm, dry, and windy conditions will keep fire danger high across central and eastern Washington through midweek.
