(WHTM)– Pennsylvania firefighters geared up in Camp Hill last night before heading to the Pacific Northwest to battle fires.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources sent 20 wildland firefighters to Washington State on Sunday night to help battle 19 large fires burning across the region.
The largest fire in the region is in a heavily wooded area of the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. The fire has burned an area twice the size of Philadelphia since it started six weeks ago…
