Washington architects, builders and contractors are warning Gov. Bob Ferguson and Seattle leaders that the state’s new millionaire’s income tax is already prompting wealthy clients to leave Washington, cancel construction projects and take jobs and investment with them.
A letter obtained by The Ari Hoffman Show addressed to Ferguson, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson, the Seattle City Council and state lawmakers, was signed by dozens of professionals from architecture, construction and related industries.
