EVERETT, Wash. — The company that built 75 individual shelter units at one of Seattle’s newest homeless shelter sites is shutting down, adding a new wrinkle to Mayor Katie Wilson’s push to dramatically expand shelter across the city.
Everett-based Pallet announced this week that it is ending operations, less than three months after Wilson helped celebrate the opening of the Bayside Enhanced Shelter in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood.
