KENT, Wash. — The Kent Police Department is investigating after four people drove a minivan into a local jewelry store, smashed up the display cases, and made off with an undisclosed sum’s worth of jewelry.
Police responded to Taj Jewelers just after 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 12.
According to investigators, a group of four suspects wearing Tyvek suits and gloves drove a Toyota Sienna minivan into the storefront, then rushed inside armed with clubs and machetes to smash display cases and steal jewelry.
