PCC opening new store in Seattle this fall

PCC Community Markets, one of Seattle’s homegrown grocery stores, will add another location in the city’s Madison Valley neighborhood this fall.

The local chain announced in April that a new store was planned at 2925 E. Madison Street. PCC’s new Madison Valley location will around a mile north of the Central District PCC at 2230 E. Union Street and is expected to employ around 75 staff members.

“We signed this lease ten years ago, and it’s been a long road to get here as the project worked through the local process, with input from the neighborhood along the way. That makes it especially meaningful to finally open our doors and put down roots here,” said Amy Chow, Acting CEO of PCC Community Markets in a April 2026 news release. “This neighborhood has such a strong sense of community, and we look forward to being a part of people’s everyday routines.”…
