A former 7-Eleven in Seattle has been turned into an “inconvenience store,” because apparently regular errands were just too smooth.
United Press International reports local artists transformed the space into an interactive art exhibit filled with intentionally ridiculous items. Think pre-tangled USB cords, beeswax egg candles, a candle that doubles as a yardstick and shoulder bags made from old Cheetos and Lay’s bags. Honestly, as a mom, I’ve already got pre-tangled cords at home for free.
The store also features keychains shaped like snack foods, including Oreos and Goldfish. One display includes a “landline iPhone” that only plays U2’s “Vertigo” when answered, which feels less like art and more like a minor personal attack…
