Alaska Airlines is making a major move in the Seattle area, and travelers will soon have even more ways to get around the West Coast.
The airline announced on Sept. 24 that it plans to increase seating capacity at Seattle/Everett’s Paine Field Airport (PAE) by a whopping 50%, with the expansion rolling out beginning this fall through summer 2027. The growth will include a brand-new nonstop route, additional daily flights and larger aircraft on existing routes.
