Starbucks closes Leary Way cafe eight months after opening

The Starbucks at 999 NW Leary Way has closed as part of the company’s nationwide cafe closures.

Starbucks announced it would close 250 underperforming stores as part of a large restructuring effort. Three cafes in Seattle are affected, including the one on Leary, which only just opened in February.

That location was once home to Jack-in-the-Box and 7-Eleven, which closed in 2023 after a fire broke out in the building and the roof collapsed…
