The CEO of a Kent-based rocket company is warning that Washington’s hostility toward successful businesses, struggling public schools and proposals to tax wealth could drive the next generation of entrepreneurs elsewhere.
Andy Lapsa, co-founder and CEO of Stoke Space, told a Seattle audience Monday that the advantages that originally brought his company to Washington may no longer be enough to convince him to make the same choice.
“What will it take to ensure the next Stoke builds here, too? If Stoke were starting today, I’ll be straight honest with you: I’m not sure we’d make the same decision,” Lapsa said, according to GeekWire…
