ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An Anchorage pilot was killed last Thursday in a plane crash at Washington’s Paine Field Airport north of Seattle, according to officials.
Mark Richardson, 61, was killed in the crash, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
The Glasair plane that Richardson was piloting was taking off from the main runway around 2:48 p.m. Thursday when it crashed in a wooded, undeveloped area of the airport about 750 feet from the runway, according to a statement from Paine Field.
