Seattle-area student walkout promoted for Oct. 7 fizzles as school districts push back

An effort by anti-Israel activists to persuade Seattle-area students to walk out of class on the third anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks largely failed to materialize Wednesday, despite an online campaign targeting students at schools in Seattle, Bellevue and elsewhere around Puget Sound.

Marxist, communist, socialist and terror-supporting social media accounts, including Puget Sound Revolutionary Youth, circulated a “Washington Students! Walk Out for Palestine” flyer declaring, “Palestine resists, Palestine will win!” and urging students to leave school on Oct. 7, exactly three years after Hamas-led terrorists invaded southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, murdering approximately 1,200 people and kidnapping roughly 250 others.
