SEATTLE – A 36-year-old 7-Eleven employee in downtown Seattle was stabbed after confronting a shoplifter Tuesday evening, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD). Seattle police said shortly after 7 p.m., officers received reports of a man who was stabbed in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man who’d suffered “an apparent stab wound,” according to the SPD.
