Washington State Patrol intensifies efforts to deter freeway shootings in King County

KING COUNTY, Wash. – After an increase in random shootings on King County freeways, Washington State Patrol (WSP) plans to ramp up patrols to protect Washington drivers. WSP and law enforcement agencies in Federal Way were monitoring high-traffic areas Wednesday night where past shootings had occurred, WSP Trooper Rick Johnson said.
