2 arrested after carjacking spree, police pursuit in south King County

KENT, Wash. – Two people are in custody after allegedly carjacking two individuals and leading police on a pursuit through Kent that ended in south King County. The whole thing started with Kent police responding to a reported stolen White Escalade in the 20900 block of 110 Ave SE. The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) helicopter Guardian One was in the area and helped police locate the stolen vehicle at a convenience store. When officers showed up, the driver took off, and officers were “unable to pursue due to legislative restrictions,” according to an update from the Kent Police Department (KPD).
