On February 14, 2024, several incidents took place in various precincts. At 0050 hours in the South Precinct, police responded to a domestic disturbance at the intersection of 20th Avenue South and South Dawson Street. An individual involved in the disturbance, under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, was arrested for assaulting an officer. No injuries were reported.
Later, at 2138 hours, a person with a gunshot wound arrived at Valley Medical Center. The individual stated the incident happened near Renton Av S/S Henderson ST. They were walking on S Henderson ST, heard a gunshot, and felt numbness in their leg. A passerby drove them to the hospital. Their injuries were not life-threatening. Despite a thorough search, no evidence was found at the reported location.
At 2311 hours in the East Precinct, a stabbing was reported near Broadway / E Denny Way. The victim, with a non-life-threatening wound, stated the suspect thought they were going through his property. Officers administered first aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived.
