KIRKLAND, WA – In a packed house, Northwest went head to head with LC State in a 5-set thriller to start conference play and ultimately fell short at the end. LC State came out swinging and stormed past the Eagles to take set one. But, Northwest rallied and was able to take command of set two. The back-and-forth race continued for two more sets as the Eagles and Warriors traded runs. As the fifth set bean, LC got to a quick 7-2 lead that the Eagles could not come back from.
