The city of Bellevue is preparing strategies to meet the future demand for electric vehicles and charging-station infrastructure, a recent press release announced. The draft Electric Vehicle Roadmap is part of the Sustainable Bellevue plan, a project aiming to reduce the city’s total greenhouse-gas emissions by 80% and 100% adoption of electric vehicles by 2050. Currently, around 9% of vehicles in the area are electric, and by 2030, projections show that 30% of vehicles will be electric, the release said.
