Asthma can be tough to manage, especially for children. But the King County Community Health Worker Asthma Program is here to help!
Our mission is to support families in managing asthma effectively and improving their quality of life. We are currently offering a range of free services for families with children aged 6-12, designed to reduce asthma triggers and provide valuable education and resources.
Free Home or Virtual Visits
Our program includes free home and virtual visits conducted by trained community health workers. During these visits, we assess your home environment to identify potential asthma triggers for your child and provide personalized recommendations to reduce them. Whether it’s dust mites, pet dander, or mold, we help you tackle these issues head-on.
Asthma Trigger Reduction Supplies
In addition to our visits, we offer free asthma trigger reduction supplies. These supplies may include mattress covers, air purifiers, and cleaning products that are safe for kids with asthma. Our goal is to create a healthier living environment not only for your children but for the entire family.
