The Seahawks offense is likely going to be without its starting running back for Week 2.
Over the past two seasons, Kenneth Walker III has solidified himself as RB1 in Seattle. He enjoyed a sensational rookie season in 2022, rushing for over 1,000 yards in his first year as a pro player. His numbers took a slight dip in 2023, but entering this year, he is a prime candidate for a breakout season.
If that is going to happen, it will be delayed. Walker III was injured during the team’s Week 1 26-20 win over the Broncos. He finished the contest, but his status going forward is now in question.
Seattle aims to improve to 2-0 on the 2024 campaign with a Week 2 contest against New England. The Patriots stunned the Bengals in Week 1, defeating Cincinnati 16-10 on the road.
