Bellevue Rattled by Back-to-Back Violence, Police Investigate Teen-Adjacent Shooting and Armed Carjacking

The Bellevue Police Department had a busy Friday night responding to two separate violent incidents that rattled residents. The first incident was a shooting that took place at around 10:53 p.m. on the 2500 block of 124th Place NE. Officers arriving at the scene discovered multiple shell casings and bullet holes riddling the first-level residence. A teenager, just 17 years old, was inside the home when the gunfire erupted – their proximity to danger serves as a chilling reminder of the randomness with which the specter of violence visits.
