TACOMA – A man is dead after a car struck a semi truck on Interstate 5 in Tacoma late Thursday night, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). A black Acura traveling northbound on I-5near I-705 lost control and collided with a semi heading in the same direction at around 11:20 p.m., the WSP said. The Acura then hit the left-side barrier before coming to rest in the left shoulder.
