PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 12-year-old boy was arrested in Eastern Washington after police say he drove a stolen car 161 miles across the state, later leading deputies on a chase Wednesday morning.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, police in Issaquah informed them that the boy had stolen his grandfather’s car and was likely headed to Moses Lake.

Deputies went to search for the car and found it parked in the 900 block of Lowry Street in Moses Lake.
The boy then led deputies on a police chase, which ended when a deputy used a PIT maneuver to stop the stolen car.
Nobody was injured in this incident, police said.
The boy was arrested and lodged in the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding.
