SEATTLE – Back-to-back wet weather systems will impact western Washington the next two days with widespread rain and mountain snow. The first system will bring widespread rain during the daylight hours on Friday. The Puget Sound lowlands could see up to a half inch of rain. Breezy winds will also continue through the Cascade gaps in the western foothills of the Cascades. Gusts could reach up to 35 mph in areas usually impacted by those Cascade gap winds like Snoqualmie, North Bend, Enumclaw and Gold Bar.
