It didn’t take long for new Washington defensive coordinator Ryan Walters to hit the recruiting trail and get going on the 2026 recruiting class.
This week Walters has visited Kennedy Catholic High School and Roosevelt High School in the Seattle-area to see four-star edge rusher Derek Colman-Brusa and Ah Deong Yang, one of six verbal commits for the Huskies in next years’ class.
On Thursday, accompanied by defensive line coach Jason Kaufusi, the former Purdue coach checked in on four-star Ogden (Utah) Fremont safety Salesi Moa, the No. 38 overall recruit in the 2026 class by 247Sports…
