KENT, Wash. — A Mississippi man was arrested in Kent on Friday after police say he assaulted and attempted to kidnap his 22-year-old girlfriend in a bar parking lot.
Now, Kent police are crediting the quick actions of customers at the Blinker Tavern that night for stepping in to help the woman police say was being forced into a car against her will.
Kent police took to their Facebook page to write, “Thank you. Each of your individual decisions to intervene was crucial to saving this woman. We literally cannot do our jobs without you.”…
