The Kent Police Department (KPD) arrested a man after he attempted to kidnap his girlfriend last week.
KPD officers initially responded to 911 calls reporting a man, 30, and a woman, 22, arguing at a business. Witnesses claimed he dragged the woman outside of the business and forced her into a car. People tried to intervene and stop him, but couldn’t. Multiple people were able to record his license plate number and passed it along to KPD.
“Ten minutes later, another witness called 911 to say that she was parked near the 10800 block of SE 240th and just saw a woman run from a parked vehicle,” KPD stated on social media. “She watched as the driver bailed from the vehicle, chased her down, and drug her back inside the car.”…
