Woman files claim after Metro bus runs two red lights, sideswipes her

A Seattle resident is filing a claim after she was allegedly sideswiped by a Metro bus in Seattle last month.

The victim was holding her phone while stepping onto the crosswalk at Yale Avenue and Stewart Street Feb. 13 when a King County Metro bus ran the red light and hit her. She suffered from a swollen right ankle, soreness in her left shoulder, and a cut on her finger. A video of the incident, which shows the bus running two red lights, can be seen on KIRO 7.
