Seattle Fat Mall — the city’s first-ever — will turn the Curvy Cactus storefront on Fourth Avenue into a monthlong pop-up marketplace for plus-size fashion, art, and gifts from local makers.
“We envision Seattle Fat Mall as more than just a retail space. It’s a celebration of our community,” say Amber and Alyss Seelig, sisters and Curvy Cactus co-founders. “We’re excited to provide a space for local artists and makers to showcase their incredible work while creating a welcoming and affirming space for shoppers of all sizes.”
Starting April 5, the space at 1415 4th Ave. will become a joyful shopping destination centered on inclusive sizing, open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m on Wednesdays and noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays.
