EXCLUSIVE: Redmond pot shop says city tried to get their license revoked for being a victim of burglaries

REDMOND, Wash — A cannabis shop owner in Redmond is trying to save his business after getting hit by burglars six times in the last year and a half. But, he claims the mayor’s office in Redmond is working against him.

KING 5 obtained exclusive documents that show the business owner’s clash with the city.

In November, the Redmond Mayor’s Office wrote a blunt letter to the State Liquor and Cannabis Board, and Bowers got a copy of it. The subject line was “Request for Cannabis License Non-Renewal.” It was clear, Bowers said, that Redmond wanted the business to shut down…
