ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Issaquah is one step closer to getting light rail. The Issaquah City Council unanimously approved the next step in the planning process for a new line.
The city’s population has more than doubled over the last two decades. More growth is expected through 2050, according to senior transportation planner Thomas Valdriz, who spoke to the city council on Monday.
