3 dead in Newcastle townhouse identified

Following a 911 call on April 24 of a shooting in Newcastle, King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) confirmed that three people were found dead in a townhouse.

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, the three who died at the scene on April 24 were 14-year-old male Dhruva Kikkeri, whose cause of death was a gunshot wound of the head and the manner of death was a homicide; 44-year-old female Shwetha Panyam, whose cause of death was gunshot wounds of the head and torso and the manner of death was a homicide; and 44-year-old male Harshavardhana Kikkeri, whose cause of death was a perforating contact handgun wound of the head and the manner of death was suicide.
