Two new Link light rail stations will open in Marymoor Village and Downtown Redmond as part of the 2 Line’s 3.4-mile Downtown Redmond Link Extension.
The trains will run daily from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., every eight minutes during peak times, connecting 10 stations from South Bellevue to Downtown Redmond, with 1,400 parking stalls available at Marymoor Village.
The new stations are expected to support this growth by easing traffic and improving transit access, especially for the city’s large workforce driven by companies like Microsoft. As Redmond’s population surges during the workweek and future housing demands rise, officials are hailing the light rail as a critical infrastructure investment.
