SR 18 at I-90 to close for five days, causing long traffic delays

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. – State Route 18 will close for five days at the I-90 interchange near Snoqualmie to expedite construction on the new diamond interchange, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said in a release.

WSDOT said the closure will result in a major disruption in traffic flow, but emphasized the approach will allow crews nearly three months of work to be completed in just five days.
