Community calls for action amid ongoing crime in Seattle’s Chinatown International District

SEATTLE — Former Seattle Councilmember Tanya Woo is leading calls for more support in the Chinatown International District (CID) and Little Saigon, as the neighborhood continues to grapple with ongoing crime and open-air drug use.

Community leaders are advocating for a multi-agency task force and additional resources to address these issues, calling on the city to act quickly to revitalize the area.
