Two Injured in Daylight Shooting Outside Downtown Seattle Nightclub, Police Seek Witnesses

Yesterday, a shooting in Downtown Seattle left two men injured amidst a chaotic scene outside a nightclub. According to the Seattle Police Department, patrol officers witnessed the altercation that escalated into gun violence at approximately 2:30 PM on the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South.

As detailed by the report, officers were quick to provide medical aid, applying a tourniquet to the leg of a gunshot victim seen during the fight. Following their initial response, the Seattle Fire Department was called and transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. While two suspects were detained for questioning following the incident, police still search for the second gun involved, which an unsuccessful K9 track couldn’t find.

Simultaneously, another gunshot victim, with a wound to the lower back, self-presented at Swedish Hospital in First Hill. The Seattle Fire Department quickly transported him to Harborview Medical Center as well, linking his injury to the earlier shooting downtown.
