SEATTLE — A 60-year-old man died Thursday, May 15 after he was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross 14th Ave. S at Henderson St. in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood; he was the second pedestrian to be killed there since December.
While a KING 5 crew was working near the intersection on Saturday, a man identified himself as the husband of the first victim.
“She was right over there and waiting for the light. She crossed and someone hit her,” he said. “There’s a lot of bad driving. They drive too fast. Sometimes they don’t even stop at the red light.”…
