Starting Tuesday, May 20, crews from Westerlund Excavation will begin construction on a new curb ramp and crosswalk improvements near Dahlgren Family Park at 44120 SE North Bend Way. The work is part of the Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) Curb Ramp Project and will continue through early June.
The project will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. Expect occasional lane closures on the eastbound lane of North Bend Way through early June. Additionally, the SE Tanner Road connection to North Bend Way at this location will be closed periodically to allow for construction staging areas. This transportation improvement project is not expected to impact local access to homes and businesses.
Once complete, the curb ramp will connect the south side of North Bend Way, which will be the future site of the Tanner Trail Extension, to the existing RRFB crossing near Dahlgren Park along SE North Bend Way…
