Status conference held for teen accused of killing five family members

SEATTLE — A 15-year-old boy accused of killing his parents and three siblings at their Fall City waterfront home in October remains in custody as King County prosecutors seek to move his case from juvenile to adult court. On Tuesday, a judge expressed frustration over delays in scheduling a critical hearing.

The teenager is being held on probable cause for investigation of murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting that shocked the Fall City community. King County Superior Court Judge Veronica Galvan has issued an order prohibiting the naming of the suspect or showing his face as court proceedings continue.

According to investigators, the October incident occurred at a Lake Alice waterfront home where the 15-year-old allegedly killed five family members while his surviving sister played dead before escaping to a neighbor’s house. The investigation is ongoing…
