Auburn man sentenced for involvement in burglaries

Two men with lengthy criminal records were sentenced to prison for their roles in Bellevue and Renton burglaries.

Renton man Travis Allen Savoy, 43, was sentenced to 10 years, and Auburn man Kelly Vernon Sanders, 43, was sentenced to nearly nine years for their respective roles in an August 2024 Renton residential burglary and a September 2024 Bellevue residential burglary. Savoy was additionally sentenced for a second Bellevue burglary.

According to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the pair was prosecuted by its high priority repeat offender program, which identifies and prosecutes repeated criminal behavior…
