SEATTLE — It has been one week since a series of protests started around the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building in downtown Seattle in response to actions by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to increase deportations.
Anti-ICE activists have had a presence at the building every day, but on three nights – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday – the protests spilled into the streets, and demonstrators lit fires.
