Driver Injured in Crash on I-90 Near Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — An 82-year-old Seattle man was hospitalized Saturday morning following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 just east of Moses Lake.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. at milepost 180. The driver, identified as Richard H. Holmquist, was westbound in a 2024 Toyota 4Runner when the vehicle drifted to the left and struck the cable barrier. The SUV came to rest in the median.

Holmquist was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Samaritan Hospital with injuries. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash…
