TACOMA, Wash. — Thousands of people are gathering at the Tacoma Summer Blast to celebrate the Fourth of July with food, music, and a spectacular fireworks display. The event, held at Dune Peninsula, is bustling with families enjoying the variety of food trucks and live performances.
The festivities kicked off at noon, featuring live music on two stages, three beer gardens, and a wide array of local food vendors and booths. Cummings Park is also hosting events specifically for children. The highlight of the day is the fireworks show, set to illuminate the waterfront at 10 p.m.
