The company has set up a free drop-off location within the city. Available for two consecutive days, the site is located at Bannerwood Park’s parking lot at 1790 Richards Rd. The opportunity for waste disposal comes as some relief as negotiations between workers and Republic Services continue to unfold.
The provided service allows residents to quickly drop off bagged trash, recyclables, and compost materials. Scheduled for today from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., staff will be on site ready to aid community members. The City of Bellevue and Republic Services are working closely to minimize the impact fully should the work stoppage continue past these dates.
