No charges expected for men who shot man at Renton Transit Center

RENTON, Wash. — Two men who were arrested for a shooting last week at the Renton Transit Center have been released from custody and are not expected to face felony criminal charges.

Prosecutors say the video evidence of the shooting shows the man who was shot attacked a group of three people who were standing near a bus stop, then kept attacking them after the men pulled guns.

In a letter declining charges, prosecutors said the men only fired shots when the man was a threat, and stopped firing when he ended his unprovoked attack…
