Two teenagers from Snohomish County have been charged with first-degree assault in connection with the stabbing of a 17-year-old girl in West Seattle. The victim, who was caring for her grandfather at the time of the attack, is currently hospitalized with severe injuries, and her family is seeking funds for cleanup and recovery efforts.
The incident occurred on July 5 in the Delridge neighborhood, where the suspects—a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl—were involved in the violent attack. Both teens appeared in court for probable cause hearings at the Children and Family Justice Center in Seattle on Wednesday, attended by their parents. During the hearings, a judge noted that both suspects posed “a serious threat to public safety.”
